Winter Fun Day
On Friday I went snowboarding. When I arrived at Mt Hutt my first lesson was how to put on my snowboard. I learnt how to pick up speed, stop when you are going fast and I learnt to do a jump trick. I really wanted to go on the chair lifts and go down the mountain but I was not good enough. I really liked going on the magic carpet instead. I had a spectacular day and want to snowboard again very soon.
Evie, I was so impressed with how you tried and tried and tried again. Snowboarding isn't easy to learn and you stuck at it. I also love your use of 'spectacular'. What a great WOW word.
