Hi this is my project about one of our New Zealand heros and the hero I picked was Ingrid Visser and I will be showing the answers of some questions you might want to know about her.
1. How did Ingrid Visser become a Hero?
She became a hero by traveling to about 50 countries on a sailing boat and rescuing heaps of orca and finding out about them.
2. Why does Ingrid Visser want to Rescue Orca?
Ever since she was 6 yrs she loved whales and dolphins. She meet Sir David Attenborough and he said that no one has studied orca so ingrid started to study orca and she also rescued them.
3. What is Ingrid's Message?
Ingrid's message is that we are polluting the sea and this is not good because orca are the top of the food chain and these toxins are damaging the orca.
