100 word challenge of Night Zookeeper

How I started my zoo

When I was 11 I saw a rainbow bird and then I decided why not I make my own zoo? And I went to my room thinking of my zoo. When I turned 23 I went to make my zoo. I called the building apartment to build a zoo and I paid them. Then the zoo was built now all I need is animals. that’s when I saw the rainbow bird again and the bird flew in the sky and left and I looked at my zoo and there were animals in my zoo and I was so happy.

My timetable for Week 2!

This is my timetable that I did this week. We are doing one each week because we are learning to manage our time which is one of my goals. It is important because we need to concentrate on our tasks, we need to know what to do when we think we have nothing to do and it is good practise for when we go to High School and University. Next year I might be going to Villa Maria which I am a bit scared about but also excited about. What do you think about my timetable? Any tips for me?

I woke up and I was over excited that it was the holidays, so I got up changed and woke up my brothers with my new alarm clock by placing it beside their bed and I ran down the hall and giggled as I heard them waking up and groaning, because I know they love to sleep in. Then they got out of bed, the moment they knew that was me, so I dashed outside in the cold morning, because my brothers were still in there PJs they did not go outside, and I giggled. 

The next day I woke up, got dressed and went on my phone to text granma and told her what happened yesterday and she said lol and I giggled and told her that I am going to her place tomorrow and she said she knows that. Then I woke up my brothers and they groaned again and I laffed. 

Next week I woke up and took the alarm clock and giggled and put it right in my brothers room and woke up dad and both of us went outside to play and then the alarm clock went off and the boys got up went outside to chase me but dad was there so the boys could not chase me and when dad was not looking I poked my tongue at them. 

Well the next day was funny for the boys cause they got me back cause they woke up at 2:00 and got changed and sneaked in my room and took my alarm clock when I was sleeping and they set it at 3:00 in the morning and they ran to their room ready to fake sleep when the alarm went off and then the alarm went off and I woke up and groaned then told dad and he went to the boys room but they were asleep and he said that it was not them and when dad went to bed the boys opened their eyes and said “we got you back ha ha ha ha” and then I said errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr so loud that I woke up my little sister and then I said to my brothers "I will be back to deal with you" and I went to my sister's room to calm her from crying.

STARRY NIGHT PAINTING

My painting is the one on the left bottom corner.

The past few weeks we were learning about Vincent van Gogh and his painting skills. We each got a piece to copy because it was going to be a team effort. I did long brush strokes then short and also spinning the brush for the sky. I liked my style so I did it on the painting and I like it. We described our learning using SOLO. My thinking is Multistructural which means I can describe several things about van Gogh’s painting skills. My next step is to explain why I used this skill in this way. I think that the team work made this painting extra special. It was fun making the painting and you have to try it!

What I did at hanmer camp!

Hi I am Evie, me, Rimu and Kauri were at Hanmer Springs on School camp in March and I am going to tell you what we did at Hanmer camp so listen carefully if you want to know what we did on camp!

Well on the first day I woke up but I did not get much sleep that night because I was to excited so I went back to sleep then mum had to wake me up again then I realized that today was when I go to camp so got ready pretty quick then got to school then I put all my stuff beside the bush all ready to go on camp. boy was I excited and happy that I was going to hanmer. I was really excited that I was going to go hanmer. I had to wait till it was time to go…       

Finally it was time to go so I put all my stuff in the boot of the car then got in the car now we are off to go to hanmer springs! Half way through the trip we had a lunch break.

Finally we got at hanmer springs, first thing we did was play around in the forest then we unpacked our stuff and then when it was almost night we went to hanmer pools and went in the hydroslide.

The next day we went on a long walk to the waterfalls then had afternoon tea and played the paint game and then went to the pools and we got free rides in the hydroslide then the next day we packed up and went back home.

On Saterday I went to athletics. after athletics I went to Aillys birthday party and played with shadow and the children and on Sunday I went  to my great Grandads birthday at McDonalds I played in the tunnels with the other children. wow two party's in a row!!!
